XiaomiDevices – Closing the end of 2021, Xiaomi officially has Introducing the newest flagship phone through the Xiaomi 12 series which is divided into three models.
Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro are both powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (4nm) chipset. While the Xiaomi 12X is different from its two brothers, which uses the Snapdragon 870 (7nm) chipset.
Reportedly, the Xiaomi 12X is only marketed for the Chinese region, while the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro will be present in certain regions of the world, which will most likely enter next year.
Talking about specifications, Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X carry features that are not much different in general, but only on the support of the kitchen spur. That way the Xiaomi 12X is the most affordable series of the two.
In terms of display, both Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X both have 6.28-inch screens that have Full HD + resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and support AMOLED panels, 120Hz refresh rate, 12 bit color, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision.
Meanwhile, both have been equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and the Xiaomi 12 has been protected by a scratch-resistant layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X batteries have a capacity of 4,500mAh which is equipped with a 67W fast charging feature. Especially for the Xiaomi 12, the battery is also supported by 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
Turning to the photography sector, Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X are both charming with a triple rear camera configuration consisting of a 50MP main lens with a Sony IMX 766 sensor and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 13 MP wide-angle lens, and a 5 MP telemacro lens.
Then the front lens uses a punch hole design in the center of the screen. There are three color variants to choose from when you want to propose to the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X, including black, blue, and purple. While the Xiaomi 12 has a special edition color in the form of a green color that appears to have a layer of leather.
Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X have also received certification from Dolby Atmos so that the sound produced from the device will be clear and lively in the ear. Both already run MIUI 13 display based on Android 12.
The Xiaomi 12 with the smallest capacity variant is priced from IDR 8 million, while the Xiaomi 12X with the smallest capacity variant starts at around IDR 7 million. Both will be available in the Chinese market on December 31, 2021.
