XiaomiDevices – Redmi Watch 2 Lite is a smartwatch made by Redmi that comes with a square-shaped body and screen similar to the Apple Watch.
Redmi Watch 2 Lite has three color options consisting of Ivory, Black, and Blue. While the strap has TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) material which is available in six color choices including Ivory, Black, Blue, Pink, Olive, and Brown.
This smartwatch has a 1.55-inch TFT panel with a resolution of 360 x 120 pixels that can display color content. Users can move and access between menus by touching the screen. There are also physical buttons on the right side of the body that function as Back or return to the previous menu.
There are more than 100 Watch Faces that have a variety of interfaces so users don’t get bored when viewing the main page of the Redmi Watch 2 Lite. Even users can customize the wallpaper on the Watch Face by using the photos or images they have.
Redmi Watch 2 Lite can be connected up to a distance of 10 meters with an Android-based cellphone or iPhone thanks to the use of Bluetooth 5.0 technology. The Xiaomi Wear application that can be installed on the cellphone allows Watch Face selection, smartwatch menu settings, as well as monitoring daily activity data.
The location of the user’s movement while running, cycling or other activities will appear on the map in the Xiaomi Wear application thanks to the presence of GPS. Apart from that, Redmi Watch 2 Lite can also be integrated with other sports apps like Strava.
As a smartwatch born in 2021, Redmi Watch 2 Lite is equipped with an optical PPG sensor that can be used to monitor heart rate, sleep activity, stress levels, and measure blood oxygen levels (SpO2).
This device also has a Breathing feature with three exercise modes to help regulate breathing better so that users can relax and minimize stress. For female users, Redmi has also introduced a feature to calculate the menstrual period on this smartwatch.
There are more than 100 exercise modes that are present on the Redmi Watch 2 Lite that can be used to help users maintain health and fitness. This smartwatch is also claimed by Redmi to be able to survive in water up to a depth of 5 ATM or 50 meters.
With the presence of a 262 mAh battery, Redmi claims that the Redmi Watch 2 Lite can last for 10 days in normal use or 5 days when used in heavy use. Regarding the price, currently Redmi has not officially announced it nor is it about the availability of the Redmi Watch 2 Lite.
