XiaomiDevices – Redmi as a sub-brand of Xiaomi has launched its newest smartband globally, namely the Redmi Smart Band Pro.
But unfortunately for the official price has not been disclosed by Redmi. Following current trends, Redmi Smart Band Pro uses a square-shaped screen similar to 1.47 inches wide with AMOLED technology and a resolution of 368 x 194 pixels so that it is able to display color content with a large area.
To minimize the occurrence of scratches, the Redmi Smart Band Pro screen has been coated with 2.5D protective glass. While the body of this smartband uses a sturdy polycaprolactam (nylon type plastic).
To be comfortable when pinned on the wrist, Redmi uses a silicone strap or strap that is easily removable so that users can buy a strap of another color separately if they want.
All navigation and selection between menus can be done with the touch of a finger on the screen. Not to forget Redmi also presents 50 Face Bands that users can choose so they don’t get bored when using the Redmi Smart Band Pro in daily activities.
Band Face itself is the main interface that usually contains the time, date, number of steps, battery percentage, number of calories burned, heart rate monitor, weather, and others with a variety of attractive designs.
Redmi Smart Band Pro can be connected to Android-based mobile phones and iPhones using a Bluetooth connection. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Wear application installed on the cellphone can be used to set up a smartband, select a Face Band, and view data on the results of monitoring daily activities from its users.
This product has been equipped with various sensors ranging from accelerometers, gyroscopes, heart rate sensors, and light sensors so that it can monitor heart rate, sleep activity, stress levels, to SpO2 (oxygen levels in the blood).
To help users maintain fitness, Redmi Smart Band Pro has 110 sports modes ranging from running, cycling, walking, yoga, jumping rope, Rowing Machine, mountain climbing, and many more that can be used to record these activities.
Redmi claims that this product is able to survive in water to a depth of 50 meters so that it can be used for water activities such as swimming, water polo, freestyle, and others. Armed with a 200mAh battery, the Redmi Smart Band Pro is said to be able to last for 14 days for normal use or 20 days for Power Saving mode.
