MIUI 12.5 brings with it certain features that in most cases go unnoticed. An example of them are the new options that MIUI allows us to face take screenshots of a specific area.
Beyond being able to take a screenshot of the entire screen, MIUI 12.5 allows us to cut a specific area and then save it in the Gallery or share it through the different applications that we have installed on our Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO.
Through the use of gestures, this new functionality allows us to cut out the screen, either rectangular, rounded or even free-form, allowing us to only capture a specific area of the screen, drawing the area we want on it.
How to take a screenshot on your Xiaomi of a specific area
To be able to take a screenshot of a specific area of our Xiaomi first we must make sure that it has MIUI 12.5. If so, we just have to perform the following steps:
- Press and hold three fingers anywhere on the screen
- After a few seconds a new interface will appear from which we can draw the area to be cut.
- Once we have selected the area to capture, we will only have to save the image or share it through the buttons that appear in the lower area.
As we said, a most practical functionality, which will allow us to Get even more out of MIUI screenshots. Of course, do not forget that at the moment it is only available on certain devices that have MIUI 12.5.
