XiaomiDevices – Many Xiaomi device users get the information “unable to verify MIUI update” when they want to update.
MIUI is an Android-based operating system which always sends updates regularly to provide improvements, add features, or patch security vulnerabilities. Not only newly released smartphones, MIUI updates can still be enjoyed by old Xiaomi HP users.
Therefore, what Xiaomi has done needs to be applauded because not many vendors provide similar services. Unfortunately the update is often hit by problems and one of them is the error cannot verify the MIUI update during the installation process.

To fix the problem, you can try the following methods which are provided by MIUI team.
Using VPN
- Activate the VPN that can be accessed via Settings > VPN
- If there is no such option, you can also use a third-party VPN application on the Play Store such as Betternet
- Run the update via Settings > About Phone > Update System > Download Update
- Reboot the smartphone to complete the process.
Using Other Networks
Because the problem of not being able to verify MIUI updates is often caused by an error when downloading, then you can also try to use another network because the operator may do something like injecting the network so that this problem appears.
Then you just need to update via Settings > About Phone > System Updates then select Download Update by pressing the three-dot symbol in the upper right corner. Wait for the process to complete and press Reboot to complete the operating system update process.
