In addition to cataloging all the new images and videos, the MIUI gallery has become a complete multimedia editor. We can no longer only modify the sky of our photographs or eliminate objects, but also edit videos by adding titles, text and/or credits.
In itself, the gallery that Xiaomi integrates into each of its smartphones with MIUI allows us to edit videos, shortening their length, cutting them in two or even being able to join several videos into one. To all this is added a fairly simple way of add eye-catching titles for a more professional result.
With the arrival of MIUI 12, Xiaomi has tried to make us forget about third-party applications and we only need to use its gallery, either to retouch photographs, or to edit the videos that we record or download.
How to add text, titles or credits to your videos from the Xiaomi editor
For add titles or text to a video from a Xiaomi smartphone we just have to do the following:
- Go to the Gallery, enter the video to which we want to add text or a title and then click on the scissors icon that appears at the bottom.
- After that, click on the “Subtitle” and then we will add the text that we want from the option “Add“.
In this way we can add text or even credits at the end of any video from Xiaomi’s own gallery without having to resort to third-party applications. In addition, this option allows us modify how long the text will stay that we add displayed on the video.
