Thanks to this secret app drawer we can hide application icons that we want, thereby increasing our privacy. Once hidden, the icons of these applications will not appear in the conventional application drawer.
In order to access this secret app drawer and hide application icons We will have to perform a certain gesture and also enter the established pattern or password. Only in this way can we access the applications that we have hidden.
Hide application icons in Xiaomi’s POCO Launcher
We already have a POCO F1, POCO F2 Pro, POCO X3 NFC or POCO M3, as well as any other Xiaomi or Android terminal with the POCO Launcher, installed, Hiding the application icons is very easy. For this, we will only have to perform the following steps in order to activate the secret application drawer:
- Access the POCO Launcher options from the home screen. To do this, on the desktop we pinch the screen with two fingers and click on “Settings“.
- After that we will only have to activate the option “Hide app icons“.
Once done, we will only have to access the secret application drawer of the POCO Launcher. To do this, we open the conventional application drawer and we slide our finger twice in a row from the left area of ​​the screen to the right. After that, the secret application drawer will open, requiring us to establish a password.
From this secret application drawer we can add applications, hiding its icon. Every time we want to access these we will only have to swipe twice from left to right on the conventional drawer of applications.
