XiaomiDevices – Unlike most other Android devices, you have to set a few things on your Xiaomi device so that Google Assistant can be used on that device.
Since its launch in 2016 as part of Google Allo, Google Assistant has undergone several improvements, so that it can now be used on various devices, from Android, iOS, Google Home devices, and so on.
But unfortunately, this applies differently for some devices made by Xiaomi. Although using the Android system, by default there are some Xiaomi devices that do not display the option for Google Assistant.

How to Activate Google Assistant on Xiaomi Devices
The first thing you need to do is sign up for the beta program for Google app development and Google Play Services, which can be done via the respective app’s Google Play Store page.
In this case, you can open the application page Google or Google Play Services, then scroll down until you find Become beta tester, then select the button I’M IN and confirm with button JOIN.
Wait for the registration process to complete or until the button appears UPDATE at the very top. If the button has appeared, press it to get the beta update, and wait for the process.
If the Google app and Google Play Services have received the beta update, you can go to Settings, then scroll down, select an option Installed apps, choose Google Apps, choose Manage space, and select CLEAR ALL DATA.
Next, you just have to make sure whether the language settings you use have used American English or not. How, go to Settings, choose Additional settings, choose Language & input, choose Language, and select English (United States).
Well, after all the steps above are complete, now you can use Google Assistant on Xiaomi devices. To use it, you just press the button Home a moment ago.
