If you have just bought a new Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO smartphone and it has MIUI 12, you have probably realized that gesture navigation is not activated and that by default the classic navigation buttons are used.
Although its activation may seem simple, there are many who ask us how activate gesture navigation in MIUI 12. A fairly simple process if we know where to look, since this setting is somewhat hidden among the many options that Xiaomi offers us.

We already have a POCO X3 NFC, a Xiaomi Mi 10 or any other Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO device, to activate gestures in MIUI 12 We will only have to carry out the following steps:
- Go to Settings> Additional settings> Play full screen
- Once inside we will select the option “Full screen gestures”.
